2026 China Outbound & Inbound Travel Market
International Visitor/China Inbound Buyer (Overseas) Registration Guidelines

I. Registration Categories
Thank you very much for your interest in the China Outbound and Inbound Travel Market (COITM)! All international trade professionals are required to register under one of the following categories:
1) International Visitor: Travel and Tourism industry professionals from overseas.
2) China Inbound Buyer: Industry professionals from overseas who are interested in purchasing China's inbound travel products and are willing to make pre-scheduled appointments for onsite B2B meetings with Chinese tourism resource suppliers.

II. Registration Assessment & Confirmation
International Visitor: After receiving the registration information, the organiser will notify the approval result to the applicant via email within 3 working days.

China Inbound Buyer: After receiving the registration information, the organiser will review and send a "China Inbound Buyer Confirmation Letter" by email in June 2026 if the application has been approved. If the application is declined, the applicant is welcome to visit COITM as an international visitor, and its registration number is still valid for the applicant to visit COITM.

III. Buyer Duties & Rights
Duties for China Inbound Buyers:
Approved China Inbound Buyers are required to access the COITM online appointment system before the event to make scheduled meetings with exhibitors.

During the 2026 COITM three-day exhibition days, buyers are required to attend all meetings as scheduled.

Rights for China Inbound Buyers:
The COITM organiser will provide 3 nights hotel accommodation for buyers, with the earliest check-in date 13 October 2026, and the latest check-out date 16 October 2026. Room rate includes daily breakfast.

Any additional expenses during the stay, or costs arising from extended stays outside the specified dates, shall be borne by the buyer.

Note: Specific terms and conditions regarding buyer duties and rights are subject to the "China Inbound Buyer Confirmation Letter" sent via email after approval.

IV. Visa invitation letters
As you may know, China has implemented a visa-free entry policy for citizens of many countries, allowing eligible travellers to enter without a pre-issued visa for a specified period.

When you register as an international visitor or China inbound buyer for COITM, we strongly recommend first confirming your visa-free eligibility through the following Chinese authorities links: https://en.nia.gov.cn/ & https://cs.mfa.gov.cn/, and also confirm with Chinese embassy in your country. These steps will help you determine if you can enjoy streamlined entry or if you need to apply for a visa in advance.

If your country is not included in the visa-free list, as the organiser of COITM, we are pleased to provide an official visa invitation letter issued by us, which will support your visa application process with local Chinese embassies or consulates. To request this letter, please contact Sarah Hu - Shu@converge-expo.com at least 4–8 weeks before your planned departure. This advance notice ensures we can process your request efficiently and help avoid delays.

If you have any questions about being a COITM international visitor or China Inbound buyer, please do not hesitate to contact us via email: Dcarter@converge-expo.com (Mr Duncan Carter)
